Jessica Canard is a Multimedia Visual Artist with a focus on creating murals and making art with people. They are a 2 Spirit Anishinaabe from Sagkeeng First Nation. They use art to explore, reclaim, and bridge this part of their heritage with urban living. Born and currently based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, they have been creating art full time since completing their Bachelor of Business and Administration degree from the University of Winnipeg in 2017. They are currently enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba to complete the Juris Doctor Program. They are wanting to combine this knowledge into their art practice. Another part of their art practice is to share skills, ideas, and experiences through the creation or facilitation of art.

Chante Eagle Horse is an Indigenous Tattooer/Artist and enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. After completing their Tattoo apprenticeship in 2015 and working in a couple of tattoo shops, they now co-own the private studio, Two Thunders in Denver, Colorado. Their goal is to hold space for the healing of underrepresented bodies and voices in their Tattoo work, and to create art that tells a story for the audience or the body being adorned using plant medicine. They are looking forward to creating and collaborating on larger-scale mural work.
