Welcome to the Panca Tribe of Nebraska Community Building, also known as the Agency Building, which is built on tribal lands. In 1934 the Indian Emergency Conservation Work Program tribal members and the non Natives designed and built this building. It has been used over the years as a meeting space, meal preparations, family gatherings, funerals, office spaces, archives, library, and a museum.

In the early 1990s, the Ponca Tribal Council had this building, the Pup House and the Small House, approved as a National Historic Property and it is still in use today.

Stories handed down through Ponca families tell that some of our ancestors have been seen, heard, and felt wandering through this space. They are here to tell us of our heritage and our culture. As you walk through our historic trail, enjoy it by stopping at each of the places to share some of our stories. Thank you for being here to learn about our culture.
