With over 1500 miles of shoreline, there are several launching points for a day on the water at Fort Peck Lake. Rock Creek Marina, located in the Big Dry Arm is a full service marina guaranteed to be a great homebase for a day on the water or a week-long camping trip.

The drive to Rock Creek Marina is special in and of itself. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife residents such as deer, antelope, pheasants, and prairie chickens that call this slice of Montana home. Once on the water, you’ll be serenaded by a variety of birds, including Canadian Geese. The water is also home to trophy walleye, monster northern pike, and feisty smallmouth bass. If you aren’t geared up for fishing, don’t worry because the Marina offers a variety of fishing and boating supplies, including gas and fishing tackle. When it’s time for a bite to eat, the Marina has you covered. Campsites with water, sewer, and electricity are available, as well as cabins for rent if the fishing is too good to leave!

If you don’t consider yourself a fisherman, you are still welcome at Rock Creek Marina. Take a hike, throw some bean bags, or challenge someone to a game of horseshoes. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy quiet nights under the big Montana sky, preferably while eating s’mores!
