Welcome to the Greenwood Rising Walking Tour. These first 10 stops focus on the main business district known as Deep Greenwood. During the next 45 minutes, the tour will guide you from the southeast corner of Greenwood and Archer along the east side of Greenwood Avenue until you reach the overpass one block north. You will then cross the street to the west side of Greenwood Avenue and return south back to the southeast corner of Greenwood and Archer.

Step back in time and stand in the very places where history happened. . Experience the best and worst days in what has become known as Black Wall Street. As you engage with the stops along the way, each one identified by a sequentially numbered marker, you will learn more about the people, places, and events that make Greenwood a significant, though long ignored, chapter in our nation's past. It's a story of tragedy and triumph, of racial violence and resilience, of dreams destroyed and hope rising to dream once again.
