Time to make a wish! You’re looking at one of the earliest jets in the U.S. Air Force, the Lockie T33 Shooting Star. This particular airplane was the first jet to be based at the Minot Air Base when it first opened in 1957. When they retired this Shooting Star, part of the Spitten Kitten 5th fighter interceptor group. They offered it for display here at the museum.
