If you’re like me, then you absolutely love this piece, which was done by artist Mahlia Mees. If you look closely, you’ll notice the cow, which looks awfully similar to New Salem Sue, is holding the paintbrush and claiming to be the artist behind this whimsical mural. I especially love the message written over the North Dakota sign, you had the power all along, my dear. So often in life, we are the largest critics of ourselves. Life isn’t always easy, and sometimes it’s easy to lose faith in yourself. But remember, tough times are just that, a tough time. And good times are just on the horizon.
